The Media option lets the author insert media elements such as images, videos, Adobe Flash objects, or Microsoft Silverlight objects (ie Single and dual analysis tool).

new media toolbar

When you click on one of the media types, the File Manager will open.  Choose your media type and search for your resource.

Tips and Tricks:

Interactivity

Media elements behave analogously to Cells. Additionally, they can be configured as Hyperlinks. To delete a media element, select it and click on Delete Cell or hit the Delete button on your keyboard.

Oversize Images:

If you insert an image that is larger than the screen size, you won’t be able to reach the selection handles to resize it. Please shrink the image before uploading it in something lie Photoshop.

Uploading Videos and

Large Media

When you upload large video files, it may take a few moments for the item to render in the File Manager and on the page once inserted. Please be patient!

Cell and Quick Styles

When applying styles, we recommend you apply them to entire cells from the Style toolbar. Use the Cell Editor toolbar when you wish to change the style of only part of a cell. If possible, use Quick Styles: And please let us know if you’d like to have more styles added to the Quick Style menu.

file (MP3) using the File Manager.

Note that under some circumstances, the audio will not play in Internet Explorer. This condition arises from the clients browser configuration. Check here for more help.

5.If required, resize the player’s width. Some players omit the progress bar if there is not enough space to show it.

The audio element uses the browser’s built-in HTML5 audio player, with the exception of Internet Explorer 8, which uses an older technology. The appearance of the audio player differs between browsers, as shown in the following table.

Both audio elements with and without controls can be set to start playing automatically when the page is reached. For multiple button-only players, only one audio will play. However, multiple players showing controls will all play simultaneously. Autoplay is not supported on iPad.
